"A magician?" said Princess Lei, looking at the man with dubiety.
"Yes, I am."
"Well then, show me a trick!" and she flashed her devious smile.
"Princess, I don't do tricks. I'm not that kind of magician."
"Oh I see." she said slowly.
"Well then, what kind of magician are you?"
"I see the past, the present and even the future as one thing, one holistic structure. Everything is connected- nothing is random, there is no chance in our world!"
"None at all?" smiled the Princess,
"So our meeting here tonight isn't chance- but a weird form of destiny."
"Exactly!" said Fibonacci,
"Our world is like an intricate dream- everything, no matter how small, is connected to something else, no matter how far away in space or time, whether in the past or future. "
With that thought she looked out across the sea to the horizon of stars- she could just make out the white crescent sails of a small boat working its way to shore.
