Between The Stars

1. Hitch A Ride- Boston
2. Pieces Of The Night- Gin Blossoms
"Astira!" cried out the Dragonfly- & she flew to Astira & hovered over her, wrapping her in a protective wing.
"I'm ok." said Astira, returning to the world, realizing she created a bit of a scene, startling her companions.
"You see M, I believe Jammu & the legend of the monks- you see psychohistory cannot retrodict the past because of the thermodynamic arrow of time- but the more information we have about the past the better our predictions of the future! I believe these Monks of Aurora are in fact robots from the lost world of Aurora!"
And Astira rose from the floor & winced as she felt a human twinge of pain from twisting her ankle in the fall.

Twilight fell hard & fast like pieces of eight. Taryn touched his silver buckle & worked his way through the crowd of traders looking for his Kashmir connections. And then he noticed a fair young woman moving with a slight limp toward a group of powerful dragons of the black market….

The Cyberuins
Music=UFOtext=
"According to the legend- somewhere high in the mountains- there exists a vast hidden archive of social cyberdata going back over 50,000 years, long before the beginning of the Galactic Empire. This cyberdata is a book of faces long ago passed away- a book of the dead- kept alive on an archaic storage system disconnected from the galactic network. This ancient data storage is maintained by a group of monks who- according to legend- never are seen to eat or sleep or maintain the company of women. The legend also says that the monks never age." and Jammu paused, taking in the bemused faces of Astira & the Dragonfly.
"Hey Jammu, where we find one of these cybermonks?" asked Astira, trying to avoid LOL.
Jammu shifted uneasily-
"The keepers of the Cyberuins are found at a few remote locations in the high mountains. They call themselves the Monks of Aurora."
Astira blacked out. She turned & fell to her knees-
Impossible- it couldn't be. She closed her eyes. Aurora- a world of robots lost in the mist of time- largely unknown to the Second Foundation. Robots who did not eat, robots who did not sleep, robots who would never age…. And a tear of wonder trickled down her cheek as she absorbed the potential of a major psychohistorical discovery. The Second Foundation knew very little about psychohistory prior to the Galactic Empire- now they would….
