Beta walked through the streets of Valloire, stopping at a small
tourist shop. Aerial taxis from the spacepad just outside of town
glided by, some of them touching down briefly, their doors opening
like the wings of birds. Beta watched with disinterest as a lone
passenger emerged from one such taxi and walked in her direction. Beta
observed the lone man clothed in the familiar colonial style of the
early Foundation, & this incongruity aroused her attention.
"My child, it is indeed you!" said the man, & Beta opened her eyes in
disbelief, for she knew well the voice of John Atoms.

Without fireworks the Trader Star touched down, so gently neither
Astira or Tarin could feel their transition from air to surface.
